What is the Mat-Su Library Network?

I'll bet you didn't know that the Mat-Su Library Network (MSLN) has 7 libraries. Five of these libraries - Big Lake, Sutton, Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, and Willow - are funded and operated by the Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB). The other two - Palmer and Wasilla - are funded and run by the cities of Palmer and Wasilla. Since the late 90's the libraries have shared a catalog, and cooperated to give all residents of the MSB access to all the materials in the 7 member libraries. If you're in Trapper Creek and find a book or DVD you want in Sutton, it can be in your hands usually in less than a week - at no cost to you.
